What You’ll Learn
Program Description
This is a teaching camp and our goal is to improve the fundamentals of our campers. We’ve created an innovative camp curriculum to help our campers elevate their games and our coaches are dedicated to helping our campers digest the instruction they’re given.
Designed For
Campers will be divided into skill and age-appropriate groups to maximize training. This camp is open to young athletes ages 5-13.
What to Expect
Each athlete will develop new skills and improve their playing ability through drill work along with small-sided and full-sided scrimmages to help players better understand the concepts that they are taught each day.
The final day of camp will be mostly comprised of games and other competitions where campers can show off what they’ve learned.
* Lunch will be provided for the campers each day.
Carlos Tosado
Specialty: Basketball Skills Training
Carlos Tosado has been the Head Coach of the Round Rock Sports Center Basketball Academy programs since 2015. Before joining the Sports Center team, Carlos played professional basketball in Puerto Rico, then served in the United States Army for 12 years. In the Army, Coach Carlos learned the value of discipline, dedication and teamwork. Since his Army service, Coach Carlos has spent more than 20 years focused on coaching youth basketball, hoping to not only help young athletes improve their basketball skills, but also pass along important life values. We’re very excited to have someone like Coach Carlos on our coaching staff!
