2023 Meredian Labor Day Classic Volleyball Tournament

The Round Rock Sports Center welcomes Meredian’s 7th Labor Day Classic Volleyball Tournament, September 1-2.

Divisions and Teams:

Girls Middle School A (6th-8th grades) – 12 teams

Girls Middle School B (6th-8th grades) – 12 teams

Girls JV (9th-12th grades) – 12 teams

Girls Varsity (9th-12th grades) – 16 teams

Boys Varsity (8th-12th grades) – 8 teams

Format: 

Pool Play & Bracket Play

Girls Varsity will play pool play on Friday and bracket play on Saturday.

Girls Middle School, Girls JV, and Boys Varsity will play pool play and bracket play on Saturday.

Minimum Game Guarantee:

Girls Middle School: 4 total (3 pool play and 1 in bracket play)

Girls JV: 4 total (3 pool play and 1 in bracket play)

Boys Varsity: 4 total (3 pool play and 1 in bracket play)

Girls Varsity: 5 total (3 pool play and 2 in bracket play)

Teams could earn advancement and more games.

Open to:

Public charter schools

Private schools

1A, 2A, 3A public schools

Home school groups

Team Entry Fees:

Girls MS = $300

Girls JV = $300

Boys Varsity = $325

Girls Varsity = $350

Team Cancellation Policies:

No refunds within 10 days of the tournament.

Teams that cancel 11-30 days prior to the tournament will receive partial (50% refund).

Teams that cancel with at least 30 days’ notice will receive a full refund.

Family and Fan Admissions:

2-day pass = $18

1-day pass = $10

Note: The Meridian Family Pass does not apply to tournaments.

Participating teams, their coaches, and student managers are admitted for free with the Team Entry Fee.

Concessions:

Sold by Round Rock Sports Center.

No outside food or drink, except participating athletes should have a bottle of water.

Teams are welcome to set-up a tent outside on the grounds.

Free at Round Rock Sports Center

T-shirts:

Will be available for purchase. Details coming closer to the event.
