What You’ll Learn

Program Description

This program will refine and improve skills with the end goal of preparing the participants for Select or School team tryouts/seasons after a couple of seasons in the program. Your athlete will develop, improve, and advance while working and training with experienced coaching staff. Each athlete will develop new skills and improve their playing ability through drill work along with small-sided scrimmages to help players better understand the concepts that they are taught each week.

Designed For

Our Developmental Training curriculum is designed for young athletes (around ages 10-14) who are capable of performing basic basketball skills (dribbling, shooting, passing) with little-to-no hesitation or trouble. Generally, these are young athletes with several years of Recreational playing experience or are new to Select or School teams that play competitively.

What To Expect

Participants will be evaluated during the first class and then split into skill & age-appropriate training groups to maximize effectiveness. Coaches may also recommend that your child move to a different class if it is a better fit for the participant.

Areas of Focus: Footwork, Ball control, Defensive positioning, Proper shooting mechanics, Team tactics
