Tryout Prep Academy I

RECOMMENDED AGE: 7th-9th Grade
TIME: Tuesdays, Sept. 4-Oct. 23, 7:30pm-8:30pm; Friday Game Days, Sept. 14 & 28 and Oct. 19 from 6:00pm-8:00pm
COST: $190

Participants will be split into skill & age-appropriate training groups to maximize effectiveness.  Your athlete will develop, improve, and advance while working and training with an experienced coaching staff.

Our Tryout Prep program is designed for young athletes, in grades 7-9, that plan to tryout for their school teams in November. Players must have a minimum 2 years of recreational basketball league playing experience.

This program will teach participants how to push themselves to the next level through drills, scrimmages and games. Participants will also benefit from offensive and defensive team drills to compliment the individual skills training they receive.

*Added to the Tryout Prep curriculum this fall will be Academy ‘Game Days’. Three Fridays this fall, athletes will arrive at the Sports Center to participate in full court five-on-five games. These contests will help kids better apply the skills they have developed, compete in a team setting and equip each athlete with a more thorough understanding of a game day environment.

*Tryout Prep training ends on October 23rd, prior to school tryouts.
